I Have Enough
I'm not gonna lie....God is doing some crazy stuff in this season. Witty inventions and creative ideas are everywhere. Literally, every single day for the last week, God has given me a new idea. I'll get it all done. Trust me. Sometimes, we look at the idea, and it doesn't match what we see. It doesn't match our bank account. It doesn't match our resources. It doesn't match what we think we are capable of. But God says "You have enough."
Here's the thing. If God tells you to do something, He's telling you for a reason. God does everything with intention. He created you with intention. You may not see it, but that's because you're not looking at yourself from God's perspective.
To be honest, you'll never be able to see yourself from God's perspective. He sits high and looks low. He is all seeing and all knowing. We, on the other hand can only see what's on our level. But God created everything. Literally everything. He knows what's on the other side of a mountain even though we can't see it.
When we know what is next, we move different. I can walk throughout my house while texting and not run into anything. Why? Because I know the house that my family has lived in for the last 13 years. Sometimes we expect God to allow us to be that familiar with what is to come in our lives. If we knew the next step or what was coming next, we would be walking by knowledge, and not by faith.
Even though we may not see everything, we get reassurance in our obedience. Our obedience is key. Our obedience will keep us. The boy could've said "No I'm hungry, and there's no way I'm going to split my 2 fish and 5 loaves with over 5000 people." But he was obedient.
He was just a boy. A few weeks ago God told me to take the words "just" and "only" out of my vocabulary. He said when you do that, you put limits on who God is through us.
In Jeremiah 1:7, God told Jeremiah to not say he is only a child. Your current state does not matter. God can take that and give you and even bigger impact. God can take nothing and make it into something. This the same God who created Adam with just dust. This is the same God who allowed just a shepherd boy defeat a giant. This is the same God who allowed allowed an that was just an Israelite to go back to the place he ran from and deliver the Israelites out of Egypt.
We don't know what God has planned. All we know is that it works for our good. Most of the time, you'll go into situations completely blind. But your relationship with God makes everything alright. When you come into His counsel, He shares His thoughts with you. Jeremiah 29:11 says
Too many times, we say we have faith and we say we trust God, but then when He tells you to do something, we have every excuse in the book. In the words of Ike Turner, we got more excuses than a man going to jail. That's not faith, and that's most definitely not obedience. If He told you to do something, He already worked it out. He already equipped you with everything you need. He can take the idea He gave you and turn it into a multi-million dollar business. You think I'm lying? Marie Calendar was just a baker from a diner that had closed down. And now her product is in every store probably from here to Timbuktu. He gave you enough. Now what are you gonna do with it?
John 6:1-14 King James Version (KJV)
6 After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.
2 And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.
3 And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.
4 And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.
5 When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.
7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him,
9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.
14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

2 Corinthians 5:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

Jeremiah 7:23 New Living Translation (NLT)
23 This is what I told them: ‘Obey me, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. Do everything as I say, and all will be well!’

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
When you listen to Him, He makes all things well. So when God tells me to do something, I'll be just like David in Psalm 119:60.Psalm 119:57-60 New Living Translation (NLT)
Heth
57 Lord, you are mine!
I promise to obey your words!
58 With all my heart I want your blessings.
Be merciful as you promised.
59 I pondered the direction of my life,
and I turned to follow your laws.
60 I will hurry, without delay,
to obey your commands.
I promise to obey your words!
