What is your favorite city you've visited?
Maybe Baton rouge. I love Louisiana anyway. The culture there is everything. There was something very comforting to me about being there. It may have been that my boyfriend at the time was there, and he was there to comfort me. While I was there, my grandfather passed away from cancer. Instead of me being in St. Pete where he was, I ran to Baton Rouge. I didn't want to remember my grandfather the way he looked at that moment. I wanted to remember him the way I saw him. Granted, that's not the best memory to relate to a place, but I remember that was the place where I really, really fell in love with that boyfriend. I have nothing but good memories when I think about Baton Rouge. Maybe it was because on Southern University's campus. There is something comforting about being on an HBCU campus. If you haven't experienced it, do it.
