What is your favorite place?
My favorite place would have to be St. Petersburg, Florida. For those of you who don't know, my mom's family is from St. Pete. Some of my most favorite memories are there. My grandfather lived there my entire life. I find my peace of mind or just a break from life when I'm with my family. I don't get to see them often because I now live 8 hours away. Every chance I get with them is special, and it ALWAYS full of laughs and a good time. There might be a little drama here and there (but that's expected when family is involved), but overall being there with them is nothing short off amazing. St. Pete isn't the most..lavish place, but it's home. It's just something about being home. Being there immediately brings up memories on top of memories on top of memories, especially because my grandfather wanted us to have those things. He wanted us to love on each other and make memories. Being that he passed away almost 6 years ago now, being there means that much more to me. Now that all of us are grown I think it's like we can make a different type of memories. Regardless, St. Pete is home. Home is where the heart is.
