Let's Talk Saturdays--Check on Your Friend
So, as many of you know, there has been a bunch of suicides that have been hitting the media. It didn't really bother me one way or anther, but it did make me think. So many people, like Kate Spade and Robin Williams. Those people are largely successful. They're careers have spanned over a lifetime, but yet they committed suicide. It seems like they had everything together, but yet they're no longer here....
I keep saying this so that you all will realize that money doesn't stop life from happening to you. Success doesn't stop life from happening. There is nothing that can stop something from happening from you. You may never be broke, you may never go hungry, you many never be homeless, but that doesn't stop someone close to you from dying. It doesn't stop you from being diagnosed with a terminal illness. There are some things that money and success cannot save you from.
You may never know what somebody is going through. They can have the big house, all the cars, the clothes, shoes, jewelry, but could still feel lower than dirt. You have to check on your friends, especially those in their 20's. Your 20's are some of the toughest times you may ever go through. You're grown but yet so young and you're trying to figure it all out. It's a lot. Not only do you need to check on other, but check on your main player, yourself.
