A song from the year you graduated
So I graduated from high school in 2010. I can't believe it's been almost 10 years. One of the biggest songs that was out back then was "Go Shorty Go" by Travis Porter. Travis Porter was a group from Atlanta. I don't think their music was really on the radio like that. It was more underground and in the clubs more than anything. It's funny for me to write this now because back then all I was listening to was Travis Porter, Waka Flocka, Drake, and J. Cole. Streets' R Us mixtape stayed in rotation in my car. I probably still have that CD somewhere in my car now.
I graduated from undergrad in 2014, "The Worst" by Jhene was killing the charts back then. I remember being so excited when that song came out. So far y'all that don't know I was a die hard B2K fan. What does this have to do with Jhene? Back then she was signed to the same management group T.U.G. and she was posing as Lil Fizz's cousin. She had like one super pop-y single back then. Her album never came out. I remember like stalking her website back then waiting for an album release date and it never happened. Almost 10 years later, she was on the radio with this crazy song. It's crazy how different the song is from "No L.O.V.E." She had a completely different vibe.
